Working Experience: Masayuki engaged in development of pneumatically driven robots in R&D department of an automobile-related company, and moved to IP department, where he worked on domestic and international patent applications up to grant. He made a career move to IP department of a papermaking company, where he managed overall IP matters, including IP contracts and litigations. Masayuki joined the firm in 2008, becoming a partner in 2016. He focuses much of his time on patent applications related to vehicles and autonomous vehicles, and is also experienced in appeal proceedings, trials, and litigations.

Working Experience: Kazutaka joined the firm in 1998, becoming a partner in 2016. Since joining the firm, Kazutaka’s over 25 years of practice covers filing and prosecution of applications for patents and designs, both domestic and international, as well as appeal proceedings, trials, and litigations. Kazutaka focuses much of his time on chemical and mechanical cases, including daily use paper products, processed paper products, converting, machinery and equipment.
